Members Exhibition Wednesday4th -14th November, 2009
Dubai International Art Centre proudly presents its 54th Members Exhibition, at Gallery 76 within the Art Centre from Wednesday 4th November to Saturday 14th November 2009. Entrance is free and everybody is welcome.
The exhibition is a showcase of local artistic talent, where artists have the opportunity to display their latest and newest creations, from students as young as four years old to accomplished professionals will take part.
Almost every medium will be represented in the exhibition, from sculpture to oil & watercolour painting, drawing, pastels and mixed media. Many of the works will be for sale, making this exhibition an ideal opportunity to purchase original artwork at reasonable prices.

54th Members Exhibition
Dubai International Art Centre 54th Members Exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Saeed Al- Nabouda, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority Chief Projects Officer and Dr. Salah Al-Qassim Dubai Culture & Arts Authority Advisor at Gallery 76 on Wednesday 4th November. With over 300 guests in attendance and more than 200 pieces of artwork it proved to be a huge success.
DIAC Members Exhibition always demonstrates the wonderful ability of its members, from the very young and complete beginner to the budding amateur and accomplished professional. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to appreciate the whole range of art media, from watercolours, pastels, acrylics, oils, mixed media, sculptures and ceramics, as well as being able to purchase artworks at reasonable prices.
The exhibition also has a competitive side, with a competition running for its members judged by two independent judges. Prize winners were as follows:

Members Exhibition 2006
The DIAC Members' Exhibitions feature artworks in various mediums, all produced by DIAC members. For the past several years the Members' Exhibitions have been held at Wafi City Mall. This year however, we were hosted by Burjuman Centre. The Members Exhibition also included several competitions for prizes, both for adults and children. Competitions are judged by a panel of professional artists. Awards are donated by Dubai businesses and individuals.

Winner of the Judges Choice Award and a fabulous prize sponsored by Emirates Holidays of a trip for two to the Scychelles was Mike Shepley with his painting Only An Abra Passing By.
The Adult Arts Prize winners were as follows:

The three merit awards went to Brenda Higgins, Aisha Siddique and Mira Rifai.
The Childrens Awards winners were:

The three merit awards went to Keshone Mahesvaran, Elena Gorbasheva and Thomas McCallie.
